Business License Online Application

GRACE PERIOD NOTICE

If you apply for a Moreno Valley Business License on or after October 1, 2025, your license will be valid through December 31, 2026. You will not be required to renew for the 2025 business year.

If you submit your application before October 1, 2025, your license will only be valid through December 31, 2025, and you will need to renew it in January 2026.

For businesses located within the city, please contact the Planning Department at (951) 413-3206 to verify that your business type is permitted at your chosen location.

To search for your business type:

Type the first two letters of your business type (e.g., “Ac” for Accounting) to jump to that section of the alphabetical list.

Note: A business license issued to a cannabis delivery business delivering into the city from outside city limits also serves as a Commercial Cannabis Regulatory Permit under Chapter 3.28 (Commercial Cannabis Activity Tax).
