Business License Online Application

GRACE PERIOD NOTICE: If your submittal date for a business license is on or after October 1, 2024 then your Moreno Valley Business License will be valid until December 31, 2025. You will not be required to go through the business license renewal process for the 2024 business year.

If you submit for your business license before October 1, 2024, your license is only good through this calendar year (December 31, 2024). You will need to renew your license in January 2025.

If your business is located in the city, please confirm with the Planning Department at (951) 413-3206 that the type of business you are applying for is allowed at your location.

You can search for your business type by clicking on the drop down menu and then typing in the first two letters of your business type (ex: Ac for Accounting) to begin searching in that section of the alphabetical list. You may select option A if you prefer staff assistance in determining the business type for you.

A business license issued for a cannabis delivery business that delivers cannabis within the City from a source outside the City, shall also constitute a commercial cannabis regulatory permit for purposes of Chapter 3.28 (Commercial Cannabis Activity Tax).
